What is the easiest way to get started?
You can easily create an account for your company or team here.

How does the free trial work?
You can use Modocu for 30 days without obligation and to its full extent. The trial will end automatically and you will not be charged. Before the end of the free trial, you will receive an email from us. Your media can be downloaded before the trial expires.
Do I have to cancel during the trial?
No. You do not enter into any obligations during the trial. However, we are looking forward to welcoming you as a new customer/Modocu user.
Subscription and order
How can I order?
The easiest way is to order online here. Enter the number of devices you expect to use, the payment terms (annual/monthly) and your company details. You will receive an invoice from us for bank transfer.
If you would like a special offer for a larger number of users or for an Enterprise license, please send us a request by e-mail to sales@modocu.com.
Which payment methods are accepted?
We will ask for your company details when you place your order. You will then receive an order confirmation and an invoice for payment by bank transfer.
What subscription periods are available?
You can set the subscription period for monthly or annual payment. With an annual subscription period, 2 months are free. If you require additional licenses during a subscription period, you will be charged on a pro rata basis. The subscription is automatically renewed if it is not canceled in advance.
How can I cancel my subscription?
You can cancel your subscription always one month bevor the end of your subscription period (month or year) by calling us or sending us an email to sales@modocu.com. For further information please have a look at our Terms.
Support and data
Is there a support team for help?
Yes, feel free to send us an email at support@modocu.com. We will be happy to provide you with an offer for customized and broader support.
Can I use the app offline?
Yes, the Modocu mobile app can also be used offline. The data is synchronized as soon as you are back online.
Can I assign specific projects to individual users?
Yes, you can create users and groups. Projects can then be assigned to individual users or groups.
Can I also download data to a computer in the office?
Yes, you can download single or multiple media. With the Modocu replication software it is also possible to continuously and automatically download the media data to a computer in your office. You can download the Modocu replication software here.
Who can access my data?
The data is stored on secure servers in the cloud and can only be viewed with your access data (user).
Can I also run Modocu in my IT infrastructure or in my cloud?
Yes, please send an email to sales@modocu.com or contact us by phone. We will work out an optimal solution with you.

Is there a manual?

Where can I get the software to replicate the media on our server?
There is the option to download your media (photos, audio, etc.) to a server on your premises. You can download the Modocu sync software for your operating system here.
Mobile App
How do I install and configure the app on my smartphone or tablet?
Search for Modocu in the Google Play store or the Apple App Store. Install and open the app. The first time you start the app, you still need to configure it. You will need a user or account to do this.

How can I document a project or an order?
The video below shows you how to take photos or create voice notes and comments for a project. You can also draw on individual photos, add comments or voice notes to media, share them and delete them.
Can I also transfer data (gallery etc.) to a project?
Yes, you can import data in the menu via “Import media”. The data is assigned to the current project and synchronized.
Open the project list on your smartphone or tablet. Click on ‘+’ at the top right to open a form for entering the project data for your new project or order. Now enter the data and click ‘Done’ in the top right-hand corner to save the new project.

When is the data synchronized to the cloud?
The data is synchronized to the cloud immediately. You can also switch synchronization for WLAN or mobile (3G/4G/LTE) on or off in the settings.
Can I also use the app offline?
Yes, the data is saved locally on your smartphone. The data is synchronized once you are back online and synchronization is activated in the settings.
Can I delete data on my smartphone and in the cloud?
Yes, you can delete your own data on the device and also in the cloud.
Web application
Who can use the web application?
The web application for the browser is available to all users and is included. You can also use roles and rights to control which users in your company can use the web application.
What do I need the web application for?
You can use the web application to manage projects, download, move, copy and delete media. You can also make documents such as operating instructions, lists, data sheets, etc. available. You can also create reports for protocols, inspections, etc. You can also manage categories, users, groups and roles in the web application.
In which browsers can I use Modocu?
The Modocu web application works in the latest browsers such as Google Chrome, Firefox, Microsoft Edge and Safari. The print preview for reports works best in Google Chrome.
Replication software
How can I download data onto my local server?
All you need to do is to install Modocu’s replication software on your computer (e.g., your office server), on which the data should be downloaded. Start the software and configure it accordingly. Which operating systems are supported?
